Amazing Keynote Speaker Holly Green returned for a very special presentation on December 11th for Friday’s With COMPEL. The room was filled to capacity with over 50 of Long Island’s COMPELling leaders who came to learn how to use their brains to grow their business. We learned that our brains are excellent at sorting through data that proves what we already believe. One example we can all relate to is what happens when we buy a new car. On the ride home from the dealer, we suddenly see the car we just bought every where. That’s your brain reinforcing what it believes – that your new car is the best and most popular! How does this work in business? We hold on to outdated beliefs such as, “we tried that two years ago and it didn’t work.” What’s the cure? Thinking expansively, Holly tells us. Ask yourself and your team questions like:

What if there is more than one right answer?
What if we are all right?
What does winning look like?

Meet Chuck Peck, COMPELCEOs New Group Chair

We are extremely pleased to announce that Chuck Peck has joined COMPELCEOs as a Group Chair. Chuck has had a distinguished career of operating technology, education/training and financial/legal service businesses, as well as managing service industry restructurings and growing start-up businesses in the airline and hotel industries. In his early career, Chuck worked with leading brand marketers like PepsiCo, Xerox and Levi’s. Chuck has been the Chief Executive Officer of two global publicly-traded companies; President and SVP of two private equity companies and served in a Chief Operating Officer role for the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). He will be Chairing a COMPEL group of CEOs of $100 Million companies with over 100 employees. Chuck is looking to create a group of formidable CEOs and COOs of Long Island companies capable of an IPO or getting to another level in profit and revenues.
