COMPELling News, November 2015, Issue 11

Chief Visionary’s Message
A Message of Gratitude
By Steve Ramerini
We just held our Third Annual Business and Economic Summit on November 3rd and our fourth Summit will be held on October 19, 2016. It’s also Thanksgiving week, a perfect time for me to personally express my gratitude to my loyal clients, Group Chairs, Advisory Board, team and the thousands of COMPELling News readers. Without you, COMPELCEOs would not exist. As we continue to grow and thrive (read about the launch of our new Next Generation group below), it’s important to pause and say thank you.
Now, take a moment to enjoy the most-watched video on the Internet below, entitled “BFFs Furever”, celebrating camaraderie, one of the pillars of COMPELCEOs Wisdom At Work.
BFFs Furever
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
All my best,
Steve Ramerini
Chief Visionary Officer
PS:  As always, we value your input. Let us know what you thought of the Summit or any other feedback you want to provide.

A Very Special Friday’s With COMPEL – Holly Green Returns
December 11, 2015
Are You Ready to be Insanely Successful?

Holly Green is a world-class keynote speaker who has wowed audiences in more than 15 countries around the world. Often provocative, always entertaining, her presentations are refreshing, practical and engaging. Holly is a true thought leader in the areas of business leadership, strategic planning and organizational development. Her clients include corporate giants such as Google, Expedia.com and Nissan.
About the Program:
Your brain is your most powerful competitive weapon, if you know how to use it properly. The human brain is an amazing tool. Yet, many of its built-in thought patterns and ways of working do not serve business leaders well. The brain can process large amounts of information. It has a real talent for forming patterns and connections. And it loves to answer questions and solve problems. It also has a tendency to see what it expects to see, overlook data that contradicts its prevailing view of the world, and have greater confidence in its decision-making abilities than it should. In order to become more effective leaders, we need a much deeper understanding of how our brain works and how it often gets in the way of winning! Learn more here.
